Miracles Are Simpler Than We Think
When we hear the word miracle, we often imagine something enormous—something so extraordinary that there could be no other explanation except divine intervention.
But I believe we sometimes make miracles far more complicated than they need to be.
A miracle can be simple.
It's that extra shift turning up right when you need the money.
It's unexpectedly receiving enough money to pay a bill you weren't sure you could cover.
It's someone cancelling an appointment and suddenly giving you the opening you needed.
It's the phone call that comes at exactly the right time.
It's finding the right person, the right opportunity, or the right answer when you had no idea how you were going to move forward.
Sometimes a miracle isn't the problem disappearing. It's the solution appearing.
Our Creator Loves to Surprise Us
One thing I've learned through my spiritual work is that our Creator doesn't always answer us in the way we're expecting.
We might be praying, How am I going to pay for this?
And we're looking for one particular answer.
Meanwhile, another door is already opening.
An extra shift appears. A new client books. Someone pays back money they owe you. An unexpected refund arrives. Something costs less than you anticipated.
And suddenly you realize:
Oh. That's how it was taken care of.
I believe our Creator loves those little surprises.
They remind us that we don't always need to know how something is going to happen.
Our job is to ask, have faith, stay open, and continue taking the steps we can take.
Start Recognizing the Everyday Miracles
The more you begin noticing these moments, the more miraculous your life can start to feel.
Instead of saying, That was lucky, try stopping for a moment and saying:
Thank you. I see what you did there.
That small change in perspective can transform the way we experience our lives.
Maybe the miracle wasn't $10,000 suddenly appearing.
Maybe the miracle was having exactly enough.
Maybe the miracle wasn't having every answer.
Maybe it was receiving the next answer.
Maybe the miracle wasn't the entire road opening at once.
Maybe it was simply being shown the next step.
We can spend so much time waiting for the spectacular miracle that we overlook the quiet ones happening all around us.
Miracles Don't Have to Be Complicated
A miracle can be provision.
A miracle can be timing.
A miracle can be protection.
A miracle can be an unexpected opportunity.
A miracle can be somebody showing up when you need them most.
A miracle can simply be life saying, I've got you.
So today, don't just look for the huge, impossible sign.
Look for the small surprises.
Look for what arrived at exactly the right time.
Look for the door that opened.
Look for what somehow worked out when you couldn't see how it possibly would.
Those count too.
Miracles don't always arrive with thunder and lightning. Sometimes they quietly show up as exactly what you needed, exactly when you needed it.
